Hi All, I am a mother of four, three boys and one girl. Three months ago we admitted our son, who had become addicted to meth, to a residential treatment center in Utah. Without mentioning the RTC, we are very excited about our son's progress and our family's, and hope he will be able to come home by the end of the year, God willing. We struggled with the decision for months and finally contacted an educational consultant for residential treatment centers through the National Youth Network. I believe their web address is http://www.nationalyouth.com. I would highly recommend using an educational consultant if you are considering placing a child in the care of a treatment center. Our consultant explained the difference between various programs and treatment centers, reputations, outcome studies and helped us to choose an RTC that met our needs including financial. I highly recommend educational consultants and also the resources we found on the National Youth Network website.

You've made the right decision. Putting your children in a residential treatment center will surely give him the right treatment for his special needs. Sometimes we need to make a hard decision for the good and better future of our children. Hope your son will recover soon. :)
