What do you mean drugs should not have been brought up in the first place? This is a very serious problem and it is something that needs to be addressed because it can affect their entire life and they just do not understand that! I agree with the teen you replied to who offered to talk to other teens because they are more likely to listen to someone their own age than their parents. I do not know if your a parent or a teen either way you should know that you don't spell can "kan" because that is just not very mature.

Preventing DUI              Reply to this Comment

Parents: If you are concerned that your child might be driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol take heart, there is good news, and it is called Cleared2Drive. Even though the Cleared2Drive System is very discreet and simple to use, it is highly effective in detecting impairment. Because we know how much appearance means to our children, the Cleared2Drive System has been designed to be so discreet that passengers don’t even realize that anything out of the ordinary is being done. The driver only has to perform 6 simple tasks and they are on their way – usually in about 10 seconds. In order to start the car, the driver must perform a sequence of 6 simple tasks like placing their finger on fingerprint sensor which will instantly recall their unique algorithm. After that there are 5 more quick and easy tasks to perform like fastening your seat belt, turning on the headlights, taping the brake, turning on the right turn signal, and turning on the heater. Cleared2Drive confirms what scientists have known for years; when a person is impaired their reaction time is diminished. Cleared2Drive’s bio-metric identification and sophisticated computer algorithms detect when a person is impaired from prescription, illegal, over-the-counter drugs and/or alcohol by measuring the amount of time it takes a person to complete their assigned sequence of tasks. Cleared2Drive instantly compares a person’s current data to their historical data and if the two sets don’t match, the system won’t permit the vehicle to be started. It’s just that simple. If you have begged, pleaded, or talked till you are blue in the face, yet you suspect your child is driving under the influence then Cleared2Drive can help you. Talk About Drugs              Reply to this Comment

Parents should never shut up when it comes to talking with their kids about drugs. Just make sure you're talking with them instead of at or to them. I am a former police officer who worked undercover in high schools as a students and could not believe what I saw and heard teens do.
