I don't know about you guys but I am really freaked out about my kids using the web and who they might meet there. Maybe I am watching too much Dateline, but I'm worried that my kids are constantly on myspace. I was listeing to a radio interview with the people that actually work to catch those guys on Dateline and they gave some pretty good tips. You can actually still listen to the interview here. Anyone have any other good tips on how to keep my kids safe?

I don't think you are freaked out. you have some legitimate concerns. It is amazing how many teens, who I come in contact with, are dating persons they met on my space. I don't mean one or two isolated cases. This seems to becoming the norm. Continue to monitor who your child is talking to. Usually the picture of a person is on the my space page also. How is it that children are so willing to put their pictures on this thing.
