On the 233rd celebration day of our country declaring its independence, a Florida public school student declares his independence from a school system that bullied, punished, and pushed him out in retaliation for his parents’ education advocacy efforts. But, Collier County Public Schools did NOT damper his desire, nor his commitment, to earn his high school diploma.
Brennan sends a message of encouragement to all students who may feel like giving up due to bureaucratic neglect, abuse or bullying, or from being bullied at school by other students.
